NC State won at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. Mississippi State led 71-65 with 2:50 left, its largest lead of the night. The Wolfpack finished on a 12-2 run.

Paul McNeil Jr. and Preston Edmead scored 16 points apiece. Darius Adams had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Ven-Allen Lubin scored 13 and made 9 of 12 free throws.

Attendance was 1,301.

The Wolfpack host Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday, Oct. 24, at noon at the Lenovo Center. NC State Athletics said admission is free.

Indiana 76, North Carolina 58

Indiana won at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Hoosiers led 41-29 at halftime and held a 53-31 rebound edge.

Bryce Lindsay scored 26 points for Indiana. Sayon Keita led UNC with 12 points and 9 rebounds and blocked 5 shots. Matt Able scored 11. Jaydon Young had 10 from the bench.

Attendance was 7,462.

UNC's recap said sophomore guard Isaiah Denis did not play and that his return is day-to-day.
