- The names and ages of the people involved

What happened
In Garner, a truck cab ran a red light on U.S. 70 Business at Guy Road on Sunday morning and hit a car, according to the N.C. State Highway Patrol as reported by CBS 17.
That CBS 17 account said the cab headed east while a Dodge Charger crossed the intersection on Guy Road. The truck driver was cited for failing to stop at a traffic light.
The station wrote that the Charger driver had serious injuries and went to WakeMed, and that a passenger in the cab was also hurt and taken there. WRAL also reported a serious injury after the wreck, which it timed around 8:15 a.m., and said the truck had no trailer attached.
DriveNC had listed a Wake County crash there from 8:26 a.m., with every eastbound lane shut and the left westbound lane closed as of 8:45 a.m. That event page now returns "item not found." CBS 17 put the reopen around 11 a.m. WRAL described a one-hour shutdown. Those two reopen times do not match, so we are not choosing one.
Officials have not released names. We have not found a Highway Patrol written release of our own.

What we don't know yet
Names and ages have not been released. It is also unclear how badly the truck passenger was hurt. WRAL's one-hour closure line and CBS 17's about-11 a.m. reopen do not agree.
What happens next
We will update this story if troopers post their own account or identify anyone.

Why it matters
A Sunday wreck at U.S. 70 Business and Guy Road sent two people to the hospital, CBS 17 reported from the Highway Patrol. The road has reopened, though WRAL and CBS 17 disagree on when. People who use that Garner-Clayton stretch need current conditions from NCDOT, not this page.
