What happened

In Raleigh, the Carolina Hurricanes host the Boston Bruins on Tuesday at Lenovo Center.

The club's schedule and its Monday injury report list an 8 p.m. Eastern start on ESPN. Boston's site gives the same clock and arena.

The Bruins' Monday practice note listed Boston at 9-2-1 and Carolina at 9-2-2 and called those the two best records in the NHL.

Taylor Hall practiced with the group on Monday after an upper-body injury on Oct. 13, the Hurricanes wrote. He skated with Jordan Martinook and Seth Jarvis. Hall told reporters, "I think I'll be in tomorrow, barring anything unexpected." Coach Rod Brind'Amour was less certain: "He's been out for a while, so (I'm not sure) if he's good for tomorrow or not."
