What happened

In Raleigh, the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 on Tuesday at Lenovo Center.

The team's recap, the NHL official game summary, and NHL.com's writeup all list that final. The summary put 18,811 in the building, a start of 8:08 p.m. Eastern, and an end of 10:42 p.m.

Pavel Zacha scored on the power play at 1:31 of the first, from Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. Jackson Blake tied it at 19:08, from Nikolaj Ehlers. Sebastian Aho scored at 10:19 of the third, from William Carrier and Andrei Svechnikov.

NHL.com and Hockey-Reference list Carolina at 10-2-2 and Boston at 9-3-1. Both recaps wrote that Carolina has points in four straight games (3-0-1).

The summary also lists five-minute fighting majors in the first period for Boston's Tanner Jeannot and Carolina's Nic Deslauriers.

Hurricanes.com said the team will not practice Wednesday and next plays the Columbus Blue Jackets at home on Thursday. That page did not give a puck-drop time.
