What happened

In Harnett County, five Triangle high school volleyball teams play for NCHSAA titles this weekend at Campbell University in Buies Creek.

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association posted the 2026 women's finals at Gilbert Craig Gore Arena. Its championship page links to a venue map and a parking map. Campbell's campus directory lists the arena on that main campus.

Local pairings

The association's board, with coverage-area schools first:

Friday, Oct. 30

  • 2:30 p.m., 3A. Wake Prep vs. North Stanly. Wake Prep Academy is based in Wake Forest.
  • 5 p.m., 5A. Seaforth vs. Hickory. Seaforth plays out of Pittsboro.
  • 7:30 p.m., 8A. Green Level vs. West Forsyth. Green Level is a Cary school.

Saturday, Oct. 31

  • 11 a.m., 7A. Cardinal Gibbons vs. Ronald W. Reagan. Gibbons is in Raleigh.
  • 4 p.m., 1A. Falls Lake vs. Robbinsville. The board uses Falls Lake. That school, in Creedmoor in Granville County, is Falls Lake Academy.

The rest of the slate

The same posting also has Friday at noon in 4A, Uwharrie vs. Lake Norman Charter; Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in 2A, Manteo vs. Cherokee; and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in 6A, J.H. Rose vs. North Iredell.
